Nichtsdestotrotz sind es gemeinsame Traditionen der digitalen Musik, die beide pr\u00e4gen: das Sequenzielle, das Sample, die Abstraktion. Seine Arbeit Frequencies (Synthetic Variations) ist ein abstrakter elektronischer Track im Zusammenspiel mit Lichtimpulsen, die durch Acrylglasplatten geschossen werden. In absoluter Dunkelheit erkundet Bernier die \u00e4sthetischen Dimensionen des Digitalen, und entwickelt dabei einen ungeheuren Sog. Frequencies (Synthetic Variations) ist konzentriert und berauschend zugleich. Und mit dieser Meinung stehen wir nicht alleine: 2013 erhielt Nicolas Bernier die Goldene Nica der Prix Ars Electronica. Auch Fujita arbeitet mit der \u00c4sthetik der elektronischen Musik, wie unter anderem in Projekten mit Jan Jelinek. Die neuen St\u00fccke\u00a0des in Berlin lebenden Vibraphonisten scheinen sich jedoch gezielt von den fl\u00fcchtigen, vernetzten Formen des Digitalen abzugrenzen.
